| Hello and Welcome to Dog Creek Schnauzers! We strive to raise and breed quality Toy and small mini schnauzers. My name is Jennifer, and along with help from my husband, we try very hard to give our schnauzers a loving and happy environment. Our home is nestled amidst the trees for privacy and serenity. We have 20 beautifully wooded acres. A creek runs along the edge of our property. This creek is called "Dog Creek", hence our name. I thought it seemed appropriate! We have a couple acres fenced so our schnauzers and schnauzer puppies have plenty of room to play. They also have free reign of our home. Additionally, my husband is building them their own climate-controlled building equipped with a doggie door to come and go as they please. Our schnauzers and schnauzer puppies are raised in our home, completely underfoot, and well socialized with people and other animals. All of our dogs are dual registered with AKC and APRI (America's Pet Registry, Inc). Many of our schnauzers have champion bloodlines. Puppies are current on age appropriate vaccinations when they go to their new forever home. Puppies are wormed every 2 weeks. They are vet checked and have had their tails docked and dew claws removed by my vet. Ears are left natural. We feel the decision to crop or not to crop should be up to the new owners. I currently work part-time as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. My flexible part-time schedule allows me the time needed to care for my schnauzers. Although I do like my job and my profession, my first love was to be a veterinarian. After an internship at a local veterinarian, I discovered my many animal allergies. I was informed that continued contact would likely increase these allergies, so I went another direction with my career. This is yet another reason why I became a breeder of Toy and Miniature Schnauzers. The schnauzer is hypoallergenic and does not shed its coat. Good to Know Schnauzer Info:
